Performing Arts Class: New for 2010

At the end of Year 7 2009, students who had a talent and commitment to specific aspects of the Performing Arts were encouraged to apply for a place in the new Year 8 Performing Arts Class to be established in 2010.

The Performing Arts Class is similar in make up to a single cell class yet with the curriculum delivered using the many aspects of the performing arts as the learning context. The class roll is approx 32 students with one very enthusiastic and gifted teacher who is keen to see students take their performing expertise and academic achievements to higher levels and across a range of disciplines. We hope this will be a permanent choice after a successful initial year
