The students in the tuition programme have had a most successful first half year with a real variety of instruments having been taken up. It is very exciting to have such enthusiasm and dedication from all the performance groups: Jazz and Concert Bands have already performed on quite a number of occasions for both school events and outside activities. A very positive, talented and hard working group of musicians this year.
We are always looking for more clarinet and trumpet beginners and experienced players for the Concert and Jazz Bands. So don’t be shy… if you play one of these then give the Bands a GO………

New Year 7 students for 2013 who are interested in learning an instrument will be invited to a Music Presentation evening in November so you can see, hold and make a decision for next year. We are having a real drive to promote Concert Band istruments for 2013:- flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones and saxophones. We want our performance groups to carry on the Northcross musical tradition.
