Northcross Intermediate is highly regarded for its Cultural programme which includes; Kapa Haka, Performing Arts, Productions and a wide range of Music opportunities.

Music

All students have a range of intensive Music lessons with a specialist Music Teacher. Session emphasises and incorporates the elements of music in a practical application using keyboard, digital technology and performance.

Band Programme

Northcross has a range of bands where students can use their musical talents in a performance situation.

Dance Group

Everybody has the opportunity to audition for the NX Dance Group which is held regularly. Students have the opportunity to contribute their own ideas to choreography, make-up, movement and perform.

Kapa Haka

The Kapa Haka performance group take great pride in performing Maori songs, dance and haka's.

Stuff n Nonsense

For the past 5 years Northcross has nurtured a group of elite performing arts students and extended them in dance, drama, mime, comedy , music and recently, acrobatics.

Performing Arts

All students at Northcross attend drama sessions with a specialist drama teacher. We believe that good communication is a key for a childs learning and developing confidence.
