Education Outside the Classroom
All students take part in an intensive Outdoor Educational programme in their Y7 and Y8 year. Involvement in the outdoors is an important aspect in a child's learning and offers new challenges, team work and opportunities for personal growth and confidence building.

ICAS Exams
Over the first half of the year Students can sit the ICAS exams which include English, Science, Computer Studies and Mathematics. These are Australasian Exams and are suited for those who have a high level of understanding and ability in the specific subject areas.

Northcross offers an after school Language programme which includes Spanish, French, Maori and Japanese. Skilled tutors teach small groups of children in the specific languages chosen and about the related culture.
