International Students

Northcross Intermediate is renowned for its care and top learning programmes. We welcome International Students aged 11-13 years (boys and girls) from all corners of the globe. Student’s may come with their parents or may choose to live with Designated Caregiver or in a Kiwi Homestay. If a student is coming to study without a parent then they will have to have access to a designated first language support person in New Zealand. If you need an agent to advise you in your first language then we suggest you visit the Education New Zealand website for a list of New Zealand specialist Agents.

Northcross School has been signatory to The Code of Practice for International Students since 2002. Our International Team comprises of Sharon Hines who is the school’s

Co-ordinator of the International Programme and Sally Farrell who is our Accommodation Coordinator. Both Sharon and Sally work closely with students, parents, staff and homestay caregivers to ensure the transition into the Kiwi way of life is a smooth one.
