The Performing Arts Class is similar in make up to a single cell class with the curriculum delivered using the many aspects of the Performing Arts (dance, drama, music, production and technology) as the learning context. The class roll is approx 32 students with one very enthusiastic and gifted teacher who is keen to see students take their performing expertise and academic achievements to higher levels and across a range of disciplines.
Learning experiences include the annual J Rock competition and a full-scale production at Centrestage Theatre, along with a variety of other performance opportunities.
Students from the Twin Class and Independent Learning Classes are not eligible to apply for this class option in Year 8. Application information for 2014 will be posted here in early Term 2.
