At the beginning of the week we once again welcomed Takigawa Daini Senior High School to Northcross. This is the school’s 5th visit to Northcross and has become a cultural highlight of the school year both for Northcross and Takigawa Daini. The school is located in Kobe not far from Osaka (Japan). They are being hosted by an amazing bunch of Northcross students who are not afraid to step outside of their comfort zone in offering up their home and families to our visitors. Our Kapa Haka group and J Rock performers put on a spectacular show at the opening Welcome Ceremony and we’re sure many happy memories will be taken back to Japan. We hope we can welcome next year’s students again in 2013.
