Please Remember

The morning drop off area is on both sides of Sartors Ave located opposite our new bus bay. The area is below the pedestrian crossing to give the students full visibility in both directions and finishes at the end of the bus bay. Please use this area below the crossing as it is close to the patrols and will give you the freedom of continuing down Sartors Ave. All the necessary information is on the signs. Please read these.

Please do not U turn from these Drop Off Zones across Sartors Ave as this is Now illegal and carries a fine. The no U Turn signs are in place both sides of Sartors Ave..

 Please remember these are non parking areas and cars must not be left at any time. If it is a drop off zone it is 2 minutes only. You have 5 minutes in the pickup/drop off zone  across the road from the bus bay. The area between the crossing and the corner of Sartors Ave, on both sides, is a no stopping area under any circumstances according to the times on the signs. This is to allow a constant traffic flow.

 If it is necessary to bring your children directly to school, it is important to drop students off outside the school in these drop off zones to keep traffic away from the school driveway. Please only drive into school if you are attending the office.

Please do not park in the Dental Clinic carpark at any time except if using the Clinic. This will incur an automatic fine as this area is controlled by the Ministry of Education .

We are encouraging parents to use drop off zones away from Sartors Ave and allow the students to walk to school: such as the Northcross Shops or the soccer field side road. New programmes regarding this are in place with assistance from Travelwise and Auckland Transport.

The bus bay must not be used after 8.30am as a drop off zone or between 2.30 and 3.30pm…. buses and students are arriving continually and safety is our major concern. Please do not mount the footpath to get around the buses as this is also illegal and dangerous in the mornings. The school gates are also locked to all traffic between 2.50 and 3.15pm.

The Auckland Transport division of the Auckland Council do not tell us when they are sending Wardens or Police to check these areas so please do not stop at any time in these non drop off zones as they have zero tolerance when it comes to traffic violations. The fine is an automatic $40 with no discussion. These systems are in place to create a safe area for your children to arrive and depart from school.
