Kapa Haka
The Northcross Kapa Haka group has a fine tradition of performance in our local community. Every year, a large contingent of students audition to join and this means that the standard is always very high. We provide opportunities for students to share in waiata and learn a little more about Tikanga Maori. Once the group has been selected, we rehearse during morning tea on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as on a Friday afternoon. The unity in the group is very strong and students are provided with many different opportunities in which to perform. Many of our top students enjoy participating in Northcross Kapa Haka.
