School Board Elections

Nominations are now open for the Northcross Intermediate School Board elections. There are six parent representative spaces available.

Schooled Election Pilot is managing the election. They’ll handle nominations, voting, and communication, so all official election information will come directly from them.

Nomination Process

If you are eligible to vote, you will receive a nomination pack by email or post. This pack includes:

  • A nomination form (to nominate yourself or someone else — just make sure they agree first)
  • Information about who is not eligible to be a board member

You can submit your completed nomination:

You may also include a short candidate statement and a photo with your nomination. This helps voters get to know you.

If you need extra forms or a version of the nomination form in Te Reo Māori or another language, contact the Returning Officer: 0800 VOTENZ (0800 868 369). election@electionpilot.nz

Nominations close at 12 noon on Wednesday 6 August 2025. Please do not leave it to the last minute, as late nominations cannot be accepted.

Voting

Once nominations close, voting will begin. All eligible voters will receive voting instructions.

The electoral roll can be viewed at the school office during normal hours.

Voting closes: 4pm, Wednesday 10 September 2025
