Two Northcross teams represented our school in the Auckland Heats of the highly competitive ‘Kids Lit Quiz’ at St Cuthbert’s College. This is a worldwide competition which sees Quizmaster Wayne travel the globe in search of the best reading teams in the world. Members of every team are expected to read extensively and recall very fine details in the books they have read. It isn’t easy trying to recall the names of the siblings of a main character in a book you may have read several years ago! It is a rigorous process to make it into the two Northcross teams and these students worked hard to prepare for this prestigious event. One of our teams was the highest scoring on the North Shore and placed 8th overall out of 70+ teams in Auckland. Congratulations to both our NX Lit Quiz teams- we are proud of you!
