2026 Rock Climbing
Term 1 registrations will open Monday 5 January.
Please note: This club requires a minimum of 20 students to run. No more than 50 applications accepted.
Before your child commits to this sport please read the very important information below.
Please note: if your child wishes to play basketball in Semester One, they will not be able to commit to the Rock Climbing Club for term 1 and 2.

Rock Climbing Information
Times & venue
Location: Northern Rocks Glenfield – 111 Diana Drive, Wairau Valley, Auckland.
When: Term 1, Monday 9 February (2nd week at NX) to 30 March.
Time: Monday 4.15 – 5.30pm (option to climb till 7pm).
When: 8-week program from Monday 14 July (1st week term 3) to 8 September.
Fees
Term 1: $160 per person
This includes the use of the Northern Rock facilities, shoe hire and instruction, for 8 weeks throughout Term 1.

A Waiver must also be signed by the Student and their Caregiver before the commencement date.

Transport
Two public buses run between NX and Glenfield. Students will need to have an AT HOP card to use this service. Alternatively parent can pick up and carpool students.

Once all registrations are confirmed, a Team Reach Group will be set up and the Team Code will be sent out to Parents/Caregivers. This will be the main form of communication for the duration of the term.
