Sporting Achievements
Intermediate School Representation
Students may represent Northcross in a sport or event that is not currently included in our recognised codes. Students competing at any level, either as an individual or as part of a team, may be eligible for recognition and a Northcross representative badge.
To apply for recognition, please email the NX Sport Department with the following information:
Student details: Student’s full name and room number.
Event details: Name of the sport, event or competition, including a link to the event or organisation where available.
Achievement: The level of competition, result or placing achieved, with a link to an official result or other evidence where available.
Photos: Please provide a suitable photo of the student participating, competing as part of a team, or receiving an award, where appropriate.
The Sport Department will review the information provided and confirm whether the achievement meets the criteria for Northcross representation and badge recognition.
In the email, please provide the following information:
Name of student and room number
Name of event, with link for verification
Result, with any link for verification
Photo – individual, team, action and, if appropriate, award ceremony
Sporting Achievements
Out of School Representation
While Northcross recognises students who achieve at school and representative events, we also want to acknowledge students who achieve success through clubs and organisations outside of school. Students who represent a club, either as an individual or as part of a team, may also be recognised by Northcross.
Please complete the form if your child has achieved at one of the following levels.
Regional Representation
Students selected to represent their region, such as North Harbour, Waitakere, Auckland, or a similar regional area or organisation such as North Island.
Individual Representation
Students who achieve 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at a national championship or competition as an individual athlete.
New Zealand Representation
Students who officially represent New Zealand in their sport. Please include details of how selection was achieved, such as through national trials, qualification at a national event, or official team selection.

Submission Dates
Year 8: 8 November 2025 – 1 November 2026
Year 7: 1 January 2026 – 1 November 2026
Please ensure all eligible achievements are submitted by the closing date.
