In early August we were honoured to host the North Shore Book Battle for 2024. This event was generously sponsored by Barfoot & Thompson and Scholastic, and involved 35+ Year 5-8 teams from around the North Shore. Teams had specific texts they had to read over the last few months and they battled it out in a quiz-style competition to determine the winners. One of our teams placed 3rd in the Intermediate division with only the narrowest of margins between Takapuna Normal Intermediate, who took out 1st and 2nd.
