Last term in Biotech and Food Technology, our project brief was to design and create useful products for members of our community.
We partnered with the local Salvation Army to find out what items they needed to include in care packages for people in need. Our students then got to work developing and testing prototypes, gathering feedback from family and friends, and refining their ideas to produce practical, edible, and giftable products. These included items such as handmade soaps, aromatherapy dough to help ease anxiety and stress, Delicious cottage pies, and other yummy food items.
