In mid May some of our top readers from around the school participated in the Auckland Heats of the annual Kids Lit Quiz, held at St Cuthbert’s College. The Kids Lit Quiz is a highly competitive, worldwide event which celebrates the ‘sport of reading’, with hundreds of teams involved across New Zealand alone. Participants must read widely from a variety of genre and demonstrate an impressive knowledge of many texts. Our two teams represented NX with pride and we were thrilled that our Northcross 1 team placed 4th out of over 80 teams. Congratulations to both our NX Lit Quiz teams- we are proud of you!
