Week 8 was a massive Maths week at Northcross, and everything went very smoothly! We held our own Year 7 and 8 competitions (involving a large number of each year group) and hosted both the North Harbour  Primary schools and North Harbour Intermediate Mathex competitions. As in most years, Northcross did extremely well in this regional competition, winning both the Year 7 and Year 8 North Harbour events.

Our Year 8 winners (in an incredible 12 minutes,14 seconds) were:
Allen Bai, Shawn Park, Andrew Wan and Hugo Jiao

Year 7 winners (in, bizarrely, the exact same timing as our Y8 team), were:
Victor Chen, Jayden Li, Emily Zhou and Margot Silander

All our teams placed highly in this final competition, reflecting the calibre of our students (and teachers). We are so proud of all of our students who took part. The events held for our community are greatly appreciated by the other schools who come year after year. Huge thanks to all involved for the organisation and efforts.
