It has been an outstanding few weeks for Northcross Water Polo, with our teams achieving exceptional results across multiple competitions.

Our A Team recorded Northcross’s best water polo result in the past 10 years by winning the A Grade title at the North Island Year 7 & 8 WinterFest. After spending the season competing against some of the strongest schools in the region, this achievement is a testament to the team’s hard work, determination, and commitment.

The success didn’t stop there. Demonstrating the depth of talent across our programme, Northcross B finished runners-up in the B Grade, while Northcross C secured an impressive third place in the C Grade.

These outstanding WinterFest results followed another successful day at the Harbour Schools Zone Tournament, held at AUT Millennium, where our A Team claimed first place and our B Team finished third in the B Grade.

Despite a league season interrupted by byes and several weeks without games, our A Team currently sits at the top of the league table after a convincing 10–5 victory over Murrays Bay.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our players, coaches, managers, and supportive whānau throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of the skill, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship shown by every member of our Northcross Water Polo community.
